In either case, there’s a sense that you’ll be kicking yourself later if you miss the message now.”-Rorie Kelly, LI Pulse
Marci Geller is a singing, songwriting powerhouse. Her history includes performances on "Live with Regis", "Good Day NY, " “Fox Morning Show” and “Better CT.” A multitude of soundtrack placements and international tours as the support act and back-up vocalist for Blackmore's Night are other highlights. In 2010 she was chosen by Independent Songwriters Magazine (ISWM) as the "Editor's Choice" as one of their favorite songwriters of the last decade and has been selected as a formal showcasing artist at the 2012 Cape May Singer Songwriter Conference.
Called a "Female John Prine" by Gail Larkin, UUBR and an "East Coast Joni Mitchell" by Judy Antoon, Harid Conservatory, her songs reveal a life streaked with tales of survival, broken hearts with a sense of humor. The piano based singer/songwriter recently picked up the guitar for the first time in over a decade and is excited about her new musical offerings on the acoustic as well as working with her frequent accompanist, percussionist Marshal Rosenberg (Buskin and Batteau Trio, Aztec Two Step, Tom Rush). With music ranging from sublime to quirky to bittersweet, weaving beautiful, intimate verses with infectious choruses. |
