Female Singer Songwriter Marci Geller from Stony Brook, Long Island (NY) frequents the Manhattan (NYC) acoustic and alternative rock scene. The independent, pianist combines poetry, passion and honest, raw, edgy emotion in her songs which touch upon subjects ranging from joy, survival, abuse, woman's issues and social perspectives. She attended SUNY Stony Brook University for undergrad and graduated valedictorian of Five Towns College. Her influences range from Carly Simon, Sting, Peter Gabriel and Yes and has been compared to Tori Amos, Sarah Mclachlan, Dave Matthews Band, Alanis Morrisette, Ben Fold, Ben Folds Five, and Fiona Apple. She toured for 2 years with Ritchie Blackmore and Blackmore's Night as the opening/support act and back-up vocalist and performed on Live! with Regis..
