It started with $79 and a dream…

Sonic Underground, established in 1995 by wife and husband team Marci Geller & Gian DiMauro, was birthed when they were approached  by a local artist who suggested they should be more than a recording studio. With $79 left over after paying for their wedding, they decided to expand the studio into a production company and Indie Label.

For years they recorded local and internation artists. It was clear that their real passion was in creating. They stopped accepting outside clients in 2019.

During the pandemic they both started studying music for sync and produced over 47 tracks in 2021.

Since then its inception, they have placed music in tv, film and ads. Have written for artists and are currently exploring soundtrack work, sound design, and voice-overs.
